Database of Authors in the Digital Bibliography

The biographical database of the Digital Bibliography of Czech and Slovak printed works contains biographical data about authors of these printed works from the year 1501 to the end of the 18th century. It includes both Czech and foreign authors who contributed to the creation of Czech and Slovak literature in the early modern era in the Czech Lands and in Slovakia.
This database is part of a prestigious project by the Institute of Classical Studies of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The project has the objective of making all available information on the literature of the period accessible to Czech and international researchers in digital text and image formats.
